ROBOCopse Disc Golf Tournament ("Copse: A small patch of woods")
September 27-28th 2025, Near Orleans Vermont. The EXACT locale will be given out in the directions and such once you sign up. It's a very private locale.
(Above: The "Big Boy" Robo-Obstacle near the 5th Hole)
So we've been working on our double-9 course on a 10 acre spread in Vermont. It's what we've dubbed a "Backwoods, Fun, DIY, Redneck, Robot-Related course"- one featuring a 23' tall robot obstacle, among other things. It's almost a "friend of a friend" kinda invite thing, BUT if you'll behave, and/or somewhat know us, I'm sure we'll all be fine. We're limiting the numbers on this as well- to 40/45 tops. If it sells out, we'll consider adding another 10-12, depending. This is our first year trying it. Again, we aim to make it FUN, and a little bit different from other tournaments. This course is rudimentary, but whimsical and features a mix of basket targets and robot-related tone-pole-style ones as well.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE? (2 days- $85.00)
This is a TWO day event if you want to come early to see the course, have dinner, etc- the competition is on ONE day only- Sunday. If you ONLY show on Sunday, that is perfectly fine (price is the same).
You'll Get:
-Camp sites (we have a field) are included in the price
-You will get a limited-print "RoboCopse Disc Golf Course" T-shirt. We'll ask your size before the event.
-There is a trophy- "The ROBOcup", (and we're working on a couple nice prize packs as well. (if you want to contribute to one or sponsor this (a hole, the flyering/promo online, etc- kidcedar@gmail.com). Our rates are REALLY, REALLY cheap. As low as $60 for some).
-We'll provide dinner one night. Most likely a campfire-side Chili and cornbread meal (vegetarian so as to serve the widest group of people). BYOB (BYOB beer and bowls/silverware).
-We'll have supplies for Smores by the fire at night.
-You get to arrive a day ahead to walk/play the course as much as you'd like.
-We have mini-cabins/sleep pods, and treehouses on site that you can stay in for a small extra fee. $40/50 in most cases (if you don't want to car camp, or bring a tent)
-Yes, you can bring your van or SMALL camper.
Any questions, of again, if you'd like to sponsor a hole (your business, site, a goofy shout to a friend, etc)- kidcedar@gmail.com.
